Dress Up : GYPSY

I conducted this gypsyful dress up party & my sweet little posse did makeup, hair & photography.  We shot a whole bunch of themed pictures and here is the first one: GYPSY, duh. What makes this dress up party photo session even more majestic is that we had a grand slumber party afterwards + Peter Pan + smores + sushi + yoga... BEAT THAT.

ADAM & EVE EDITORIAL

Awhile back I styled my first editorial for Annex Magazine and I finally got the pictures and I think they look flipping awesommmmeee, except my last name is spelled wrong but it's cool! The looks were inspired by the process of Adam & Eve and I had to use quite a bit of imagination for that, considering Adam & Eve were naked? May I add after looking at these pictures that the photographer is so exceptionaly talented. That last shot was not an easy one & I remember he wasn't going to let anyone leave until it was shot the way he pictured it.

That skirt was the most amazing piece of vintage I've ever seen. The picture doesn't even give justice to how massive it was.

This shot is amazing, she actually looks like she is falling !

Black & White Summer

I took these photos of my friends awhile back when I was working at Polkadots & Moonbeams and they let me use the vintage store as my personal dress up party. I just recently changed the vibrant pictures to black & white and they just seem to be communicating summer & youth. Hoolahoops, flowers, dresses and growing pretty much sum up my summer...but seriously. These pictures spark a comforting feeling for me and I love it as it reminds me that clothing can and should be transferred to emotion & communication.  So here are my fairy sisters + some other pictures to remind u of the everything but bummer summer that I hope everyone had.

Started to play the facelift game
Took some studs out of my box
Put them on top of some old cut socks

Cut one sleeves flare
Left my right hennahd arm bare

I get a lot of clothes from them
